HR & Payroll Specialist

Stockholm HR & Payroll Apply before: 2026-06-09

PO.P are now looking for an HR & Payroll Specialist to join our team in Stockholm!

In this role, you will work hands-on with both HR and payroll - ensuring things run smoothly day to day, while contributing to how we improve and develop our ways of working over time.

If you enjoy taking responsibility, making things work in practice and finding better ways of working along the way, this could be the right role for you!

About the role

This is a key role in a small HR function, working closely with the CHRO and managers across the business. The role includes responsibility across multiple markets, with Sweden as the main market and active involvement in Norway, Finland, Estonia and the UK.

The role involves a mix of day-to-day operational work and process development, with clear ownership within your area and close dialogue with the business.

Key responsibilities

Payroll
  • Own and coordinate the internal payroll process and act as the main contact with external payroll provider
  • Ensure quality, compliance and accuracy in payroll-related data and processes
  • Investigate and resolve payroll-related deviations, questions and follow-ups
  • Plan and coordinate the annual salary review and salary mapping processes
  • Advise and support managers on payroll, compensation and employment conditions
HR operations
  • Support managers on HR-related matters
  • Contribute to the development and improvement of HR and payroll processes and ways of working
  • Ensure that company policies and HR-related documentation are regularly reviewed, updated and compliant with current legislation in each operating country

Who we are looking for

What matters most is your mindset. You are curious, eager to keep learning and motivated by the opportunity to grow within both HR and payroll. You enjoy shaping and developing “how we do things” - setting routines and building processes that support both the team and the business.

To thrive in this role, you are comfortable taking responsibility, working independently and contributing hands-on in a role that combines day-to-day operations with ongoing development.

We believe you have

  • A relevant post-secondary educational background within HR, Payroll or a related field
  • Experience within HR and payroll operations or payroll coordination, preferably in an outsourced setup
  • A growth mindset and a willingness to continue developing your skills over time
  • Strong verbal and written professional communication skills, in both English and Swedish
  • Experience from an international retail organisation is a plus

Why join PO.P?

At Polarn O. Pyret, you will be part of a purpose-driven company with a strong heritage and a clear ambition to keep developing – not only our products, but also how we work as an organisation.

The role is full-time, reports to the CHRO and is based at our headquarters in Hagastan, Stockholm. PO.P applies a hybrid work model with the possibility to work from home 2–3 days per week. Last day to apply is 2026-06-09

Selection and interviews will be conducted continuously, meaning the position may be filled before the application deadline.

We look forward to hearing from you!
